Pia is the new voice of the Italian melodic rock, a unique talent in her genre that has created lot of attention to Vasco Rossi’s eyes and ears.
The story started in 1993 when Pia (at that time student at DAMS, graduated with a thesis called “the feminine rock”) already started to compose her first pieces. During that same year she got qualified for the final of Castrocaro, showed live on RAI UNO, and that was the occasion when Gaetano Curreri, leader of Stadio, has noticed her and then been introduced to Vasco Rossi.
In 2000, thank you to Vasco, she met another legend of the Italian music, Patty Pravo, who made the following comment “she is amazingly good, owner of her songs and I had no other choice but to copy her”.
For her next album “una donna da sognare” that will come out in May, she has chosen seven songs written from this young songwriter.
The collaboration with Patty Pravo has launched Pia into numerous TV programs.
During those times of success, in June 2000 Pia performed on the stage of the “Heineken Jammin´Festival “ in Imola and on the “Rock Revolution” in Zocca.
In the meantime she continues the cooperation with Vasco who, in the summer of 2001, wanted her as a supporter during his tour “Stupido Hotel”.
2003 is the year of Pia discographic debut, when she records “ciao Amore”, a single made from Vasco Rossi for his compilation “Bollicine”.
During the period from the 12th to the 15th of December 2003, she is performing abroad: Dusseldorf Festival Rock, “Zwinglikirche” in Berlin (during the Tania Ries’s show called “Tanjas Nachcafè”) and “SO 36” in Berlin-Kreuzberg. In the same year (2003), Radio WDR Colonia broadcasts her first single “ciao Amore”.
At the same time of “ciao Amore” Pia signs two pieces from the compilation of Irene Grandi, “buon Compleanno” and “Prima di partire per un lungo viaggio”. “Buon Compleanno” will be one of the most success singles on air from all the networks.
In 2003 she releases her second album “Quella vispa di Teresa”, coming with a videoclip with the extraordinary presence of Platinette, and it stays on the hit parade of “Musica e Dischi” for 6 weeks.
It comes 2004 when Vasco “steals” from Pia the piece “E…”, nominated “really beautiful, very excited to listen to”. Consequently, “E” will be one of the songs more broadcasted in the radios from the album “buoni o cattivi”, on top of the greatest hits for almost a year. Vasco says about her “she is a real genius writing songs. A songwriter to be absolutely followed, an exceptional talent”. And regarding “E” says “ I particularly care about this piece, I believe it’s a delicate soft touch”.
In the summer of 2004, Pia opens Vasco concerts in San Siro, REggio Emilia and Padova.
That same year she writes the anthem for the soccer team of Palermo “Palermo facci sognare” that from the 20th of February 2005 becomes the official theme song at the TV show “Quelli che il calcio”, on Rai2.
The 17th of June 2005 comes out the first Pia’s album “Un segreto che” for the label Bollicine / EMI Capitol Music made from Vasco Rossi.

From the 4th of November 2005 Pia’s second single “se chiudi gli occhi” is on air on all the Italian radios.

In the same year Vincenzo Mollica reviews the album Un segreto che during the TG1 news column DoReCiakGulp, describing her as a songwriter with an excellent talent and as an artist that we are going to talk about for a while. In the same day, TG3 REgione Emilia Romagna gave her a gap during the concert live in bologna.
The 11th of February starts the tour Un Segreto che from the Rolling Stone in Milan to all major Superclub in Italy. The organization is committed to Clear Channel (now Milano concerti).
From the 8th of May 2006 is broadcasted in all radios the third single of Pia “non so baciarti”
From December 2006 until March 2007 Pia participates in the Tour Venti Live organized by Milano concerti.

On the 18th of September, at the Paladozza in Bologna, it has been introduced the new anthem for the Fortitudo team of basketball called “fortitude solo per amore”, written by Pia and performed with Gaetano Curreri leader of Stadio.
October 2007: comes out the new single called “la tua foto” which anticipates the new Pia CD album. The single is made by Guido Elmi (a well known producer of Vasco), arranged with new special sounds, different from the previous album.

Currently Pia is in promotion with the new single which has been well played on numerous national radios and on Radio 3iii (6th position of the airplay classify), Radio Svizzera Italiana and Radio Capodistria as well.
November 2007: as the promotion of the new single on the radios is not enough, there is also the participation of live manifestations. On the 24th she participates at M.E.I. (meeting of the Indipendent Labels).
Dicember 2007: the big networks (RADIO 2, KISSKISS NETWORK, RADIO ITALIA, KISS KISS ITALI, ecc) start the broadcast of Pia new single, La tua foto. Less then ten days and she is already on the 85th position of the Music Control hit parade.
February 2008: monograph evening of artists organized by Radio 3iii (Lugano). Pia, in the present of audience and journalists, will perform unplagged
Monday 11th of February Pia is invited by Fabrizio Frizzi and Elsa di Gati to the show Cominciamo Bene (Rai 3). Interview and performance of the piece La tua foto.
The 23 of May 2008 comes out the second Pia’s album “Urlo” for the label Bollicine / EMI Capitol Music made from Vasco Rossi.
